Services

Small construction projects.

What's included

We build accessibility ramps, decks, and raised garden beds, and we install sheds, whether that's a kit you've bought or one we assemble on site.

These jobs are too big for a weekend and too small for a general contractor. Dedate is engineer owned and operated, so we work out the materials with you, matching lumber and hardware to the budget and to what the structure has to hold up to.

Each one gets the same fixed, itemized bid as the rest of our work.

What we don't do

We don't build additions, garages, or anything that will be lived in. Foundations, framing for habitable space, and roofing are outside our scope, and so is any job that needs electrical or plumbing run to a new structure.

If your project isn't a good fit for Dedate, we'll do our best to help you find a partner who can complete the job.

How to prepare

Pick the spot and clear it of plants, debris, and stored items. Tell us about slope, drainage, or soft ground you've noticed.

For ramps, have the door measurements and any user requirements (wheelchair width, for example) ready.

Safety notes

Ramps need a gentle slope and solid railings to be safe; we'll talk through the layout with you before building.

Sheds and decks need level, stable ground. Keep kids and pets away from the work area while tools and lumber are out.
